For this project we were given a program of requirements for a hypothetical new building in the arts center on campus. With very few design restraints I imagined these organic aquatic-looking forms that not only contrast the orthogonal limestone structures of the Roche-Dinkeloo arts center, but also pay tribute to the ancient organisms still visible in the stone.
